Alternative Fuel Projects Turn-key whole-tire derived fuel handling system. Project includes: engineering, design, fabrication and installation of an automated whole-tire delivery system to a cement preheater kiln system. The system is designed to deliver 2 to 6 tons per hour of whole tires and includes the following equipment: semi-truck dumper, walking floor, Transco Tire Sorter, accumulator belts, elevator, power turn conveyors, weigh-scale, plus a double air-lock feed chute to introduce the whole tires to the calciner. The system is designed to handle semi-truck and passenger tires. Project scope includes electrical and control interface with the customer’s current plant control logic scheme.
Engineering, fabrication and installation of a temporary whole tire feed system. The system included a double-air lock feed gate, chute and load cell mounted weigh-scale.
